Take a moment to quiet your mind and open your heart. Peace can be considered or seen in various ways or circumstances and oftentimes in trouble or distress, but what about forming daily habits that stimulate peace in your life? Here is my take on what peace stands for:
Pray - God will give us his perfect peace not worldly peace. We often think money will give us peace and it will not. Only through the father will you have a perfect peace.
Exercise - Get up and move! If you are seeking something from God you have to get up and find him in all you do. Flex your God muscle and find him in the resources around you, nature, and your mind and body. Do not be troubled or afraid. Think about what truly terrifies you and give it to God or if necessary get in the boxing ring with it! Don't be afraid! With God, your faith muscles are way bigger than this world!
Accept - Let go of the things and people you cannot change. It does you no good to harp on things and absorb stress. Along with that, accept that above all else you are truly loved and cared for. So if someone does not love you right they are not for you. Period. Remember that all losses are not truly a loss, but growth.
Correct - Do not be upset when you are corrected. Conviction is the presence of God correcting you and absorb that he is enlightening you to have better thoughts, better feelings and a better way of handling life experiences and situations.
Expand - Go outside of your comfort zone, read, study and ask God to expand the territory of your mind to stimulate an enhanced thought process to evoke new actions out of you.
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
