Let’s Play the Trust Exercise

Have you ever done the trust exercise? When you or someone is standing with their back to you and you have to either trust the person to catch you or be ready with open arms to catch them? Life is kind of like this.

We go through a series of events, evolutions and relationships that have either caused us to trust that we can fall, shown someone else they can trust to fall because we have caught them or unfortunately not trust at all. God is always there to catch us. Jesus is always there to save us and hold our hand. Due to experience, we think that God is only there to pick us back up when we are down and that is false. God wants to be your anchor, not just when you are down, but in all of the great moments too. He wants to share in delight with you through small wins, accomplishments, new projects, new love or even a new hobby. The scripture tells us that God has given us everything we need. Meaning everything in his will, he has given us access to live fully, free and without fear. Reflect and ask yourself what do I need to fall into and trust God with and for?

By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 NLT
